For several weeks now, paris finally reclaims an iconic venue for fashion dissemination
For some time now, despite the presence of a few independent boutiques, the capital ‘of la mode’ has lacked a flagship destination since the closure in 2017 of Colette the famous conceptual store.
With the arrival of Dover Street Market-Paris, this void is now filled, infusing Paris with a new conceptual dynamism where artistry avant-garde and commerce boldly merge.
Conceived by Rei Kawakubo and her husband Adrian Joffe, and already established in London, Los Angeles, Tokyo, and Beijing among other locations, the Parisian space immediately distinguishes itself with its labyrinthine spatial layout, reminiscent of the Mayfair store in London, a feature uniquely reproduced in Paris.
