Google Cultural Institute

GCI permet de découvrir des expositions et des collections présentées dans des musées et des archives du monde entier. Inauguré en 2013, c’est un matériel de plusieurs de millions d’œuvres numérisées qui est mis en ligne, un rêve pour tout étudiant en filière artistique ou l’amateur d’art.

Google à mis tous les moyens en sa possession pour rendre l’expérience intéressante, niveaux de zooms incroyables, informations détaillées, recherche multi-thématique…
Les œuvres numérisées appartiennent au domaine public, mais la gestion des droits semble plus complexe que l’on imagine comme le souligne cet article. Sous-jacent se livre le débat du territoire numérique face au territoire réel et de celui  l’autorité des Etats contre celui des mega-compagnies du web.

15000 comics ante-1959, bande dessinées américaines disponibles gratuitement sur le Digital Comic Museum. Vous n’y trouverez pas Batman, Spiderman ou les héros de Marvel et DC Comics, mais suffisamment de quoi se délecter et être inspirés.

Les Carnets de notes de Paul Klee (Paul Klee Notebooks) est un ouvrage en deux volumes de Paul Klee qui recueille ses conférences à l’école du Bauhaus dans les années 1920 et ses principaux essais sur l’art moderne.

Ces travaux sont considérés comme si importants pour la compréhension de l’art moderne qu’ils sont comparés au « Trattato della pittura » (Traité de la peinture) de Leonard de Vinci. sur la peinture avait pour Renaissance. On dit aussi de ces écrits qu’ils placent  Paul Klee dans une position comparable à celle de Newton dans le domaine de la physique.

« Les Carnets de notes de Paul Klee constituent le Principia Aesthetica d’une nouvelle ère de l’art » – Herbert Read, historien d’art.

En 1925, Paul Klee avait condensé ses conférences au Bauhaus dans le Pedagogical sketchbook.

Projet mené l’an dernier avec mes étudiants en Création de mode.

Le projet consistait à hacker du contenu vidéo et audio et de remonter un court clip d’une minute relatant l’univers de leur collection. Les moyens utilisés devaient être très accessibles (téléphone mobile, appareil photo numérique et logiciel de montage vidéo basique). Il y avait un côté DIY demandé. Tous n’ont pas exactement respecté le cahier des charges, mais le contenu créér mérite d’être vu.

Durée du workshop et du coaching: 6 heures
