I discover Rupert Sanderson shoes during the last Paris fashion week. When i saw those shoes i tought that they will be perfect with the über-feminine clothes of the french london-based designer Roland Mouret. It was not a suprise then when i learn that the two of them were good friends…
Rupert Sanderson open his own house in 2001. Mixing modern design and traditional italian shoe-making, each pair of shoes is meticulously handcrafted. Former Sergio Rossi and Bruno Magli, Sanderson is somehow the heir of this italian masters. Since 2009 he designs all the shoes for Karl Lagerfeld’s mainline catwalk collection.
Heritage, handcrafting, creativity and dreams, the main ingredients of luxury are gathered.
That evening each pair of shoes seems to be designed for all our feminine fantaisies, from the super-hero to an Hollywood star (see below).
